Cynthia Larson-Daugherty, Ed.D.

Dr. Larson offers 17 years combined experience in both corporate and academic environments with an emphasis in integrating employee and student learning and development, organizational change and technology. She has a Doctorate in Education from The George Washington University, and a Master of Arts in Liberal Studies and Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication, both from Towson University.
Since 2003, Dr. Larson has overseen all aspects of SPL's daily operations. SPL focuses on e-learning solutions and services, provides web solutions and student concierge services. SPL has over 30 employees and serves clients around the globe with learning services and solutions supported by a 24/7/365 client service call center. In the last four years working with her team and the Chancellor of the National University System, SPL has grown from serving exclusively affiliates to adding more than 25 additional clients to their customer list. In addition, Dr. Larson worked with her team in 2004 to create the effective e-learning model (e2L) which has become the benchmark for engaging and effective online learning development and delivery.
Prior to joining the National University System, Dr. Larson served as Director of Payment Services Training for the 5th District of the Federal Reserve Bank (seven years), Chevy Chase Bank (five years) in Human Resources, and has also consulted in commercial banking, manufacturing, retail, construction and development, healthcare, and electronics distribution. She served as a fulltime professor in the School of Business at National University (now as an adjunct), and an adjunct at Towson University (MD), Pepperdine University (CA), and the George Washington University (DC). A snapshot of Cindy's publishing background includes contributing chapters to The ASTD Training and Development Handbook (1999), critiquing instruments for Buros Institute of Mental Measurements (2004), Organizational Behavior third edition (2006) by McShane/vonGlinow, Interpersonal Skills in Organizations by DeJanasz et al (2006), and the Journal of Online Learning and Teaching, Supporting the Hybrid Learning Model: A New Proposition (March 2007).
